Please note that the lift at York Castle Museum is currently out of order.

The lift provides access to the upper floors of the right-hand side of the building, which includes access to the 1914: When the World Changed Forever exhibition.

We hope to have the lift repaired as soon as possible and apologise for the inconvenience caused to our visitors.
