Visit our new-look shop in the foyer of the museum for vintage gifts, retro design and nostalgic souvenirs. The shop has undergone a complete refit and re-opened with a delightful selection of new stock as well as old favourites.

Homeware
Enamelware items with a selection of other goodies from the shop
Borrow some style tips from your Grandma’s kitchen and grab a bargain from our selection of vintage-style enamelware, including a bread bin and washing bowl.
Clean-up the old-fashioned way with our range of glass cloths, oven cloths, dusters, scrubbing brushes, carbolic soap and linen “scrims” (traditionally used for cleaning windows).
Drying-up won’t be a chore with our aprons and tea towels featuring retro advertising campaigns and you can keep things tidy with white linen laundry, cotton wool and lavender bags.

Plate it up patriotically!
Spruce up your table with Royal Stafford’s Britannia range, including bowls, dining plates and side plates, or keep it simple with a ceramic Fish and Chip tray and mushy peas dish from Poole Pottery.

From shillings to sixpences...
Collect some small change from the days before credit cards and pin numbers with a selection of original and reproduction coins from Westair, dating from Victorian times through the first few decades of the 20th century – you’ll find half-crowns, shillings and sixpences.

Our popular Pantry shop has been incorporated into the new museum shop and contains a wide range of sweets, biscuits, jams, chutneys, cakes and tea, from local firms including Farrah’s Harrogate Toffee, York Preserves and Taylors of Harrogate.
